Canton: The Trees of Canton
Elves have long proper names for each of their home trees.
As the elvish language creates longer and longer words as descriptions are added, some of the tree names can get quite lengthy. In essence, a true elf name might be considered more like a sentence if it was English.
For example.
- otor = tree
- zildotar = twelfth tree
- kalotorzild = twelfth tree which is also a home tree
- zildotarjakcon = twelfth tree which is a home tree which is also forked
- zildonmarjaccon = twelfth tree (dead) which is a home tree and is forked
- zildonmarjacconulis = twelfth tree (dead) which is a home tree and is forked and died 3 decades ago
- Zildonmorjakconferdrylulis = twelfth tree (dead 3 decades) which is a home tree and is forked and is used primarily for burial rites.
