Anytime
The central convergence of a possibly infinite number of realities. Often referred to as the center of the multiverse.
What exactly Anytime represents is a matter for debate. Some see it as a shadow of all realities converging, while others believe that all realities spin out of it.
Some of the key aspects of Anytime is that a loosely applied flow of linear time exists. Whatever world you are from tends to dominate when you visit Anytime. Time can traverse at different rates in different parts of Anytime and moving from one time zone to another is an arduous but not impossible task.
Natives to Anytime seem to have an easier transfer when trying to move from one time zone to another. Visitors usually find they are stuck to a section of Anytime which most similarly reflects their own reality.
Using Anytime for purposes of time travel is believed to be impossible for any reality which has a rigid time structure. Though it touches on most realities at various times, once one has entered or come from such a reality, that is their point of return. If they can change it, they only move to a later point of return on the timeline. Newcomers to a reality which know how can often pick and choose their first point of entry. Though commonly believed impossible, several stories exist of powerful beings who have found ways around this restriction. Essentially, it is the realities which control Anytime in this aspect more so than the other way around.
Gashmyr is the central city of all Anytime. If you are in a city and transfer to Anytime, odds are good it is in Gashmyr you will appear. The size of the city is unknown, it is larger than a world when the number of locations and destinations are counted, yet one can reach any destination with a few hours of walking. As with Anytime as a whole, the city itself commonly exists at a technological level similar to the visitor. However, unlike their home reality, elements of futuristic technology and magics can be found in Gashmyr for the visitor as they can experience other realities beyond what they are familiar while within the city.
