Awol

Awol are creatures from the planes of shadow, otherwise known as the Shadowfell. Thye looks very much like Humans and are thought to be the descendants of people trapped upon that plane of darkness. They do have significant differences in appearance from their supposed ancestors. They are pale to ghostly white, with their hair and any other features being black as night. The only thing breaking them away from this monochrome appearance is their bright vibrant eyes that can come in any colour. These eyes glow with their own volition and are highly reflective of any light that catches them. Awols have even been known to possess eyes in colours that are not perceivable to most humanoid creatures such as Aeda or Narru. Despite perceptions of the Shadowfell being devoid of colour most creatures, are able to see far more shades than most Primematerial Creature. Using this wide array of colours as a way of speaking over long distances.   Awols like a number of other creatures from the Shadowfell are only visible in darkness. Growing more and more transparent in light just as would a shadow. Their vibrant eyes do stay viable though, so long as they are open. Thankfully to most anything they are wearing seems to turn transparent along with them, avoiding them revealing themselves to onlookers.

Basic Information

Ecology and Habitats

Awols are generally only encountered in any great numbers in the realms of the Shadowfell. They are though, very much prone to travel, but mainly only on their lonesome or in small groups. Of these potential destinations, the Material Plane is the most attractive to them where quite a few Awols can be encountered. A few small communities can be found in the Everrain where they are one of the few peoples to hold any permanent presence there.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Awols need to eat at the same rate as most of the humanoids of their size. They are much more prone to eating colder foods than others though.
