Az Persona

Physical Description

Identifying Characteristics

For a drow, Nilonim has rather pale, ashen skin, which had been one of the first things that Az had noticed about him when they had originally met. He has white hair that is pin straight, falling to a max length just past his shoulders and is normally slicked back with the help of a few thin braids.
Nilo has sharp, angular facial features broken up by sets of white, parallel facial tattoos that run from the top of his forehead all the way down to his jawline. The irises of his eyes are a deep red, characteristic of drow, but his sclera are black.

Special abilities

Despite not being much of a thief (as far as Az knew), Nilo was extremely adept at lockpicking with almost anything that even marginally resembled a proper set of tools. Development of his persona has also bestowed a proficiency with thieves' tools unto Azzy himself, though he must be actively using the persona in order to fully tap into this skill.

Personal history

Nilonim was a man of his own long before he became one of several personas that Azzy developed and evolved, though he went by a different name and leads a much different life. The two met as any person could expect to meet someone with the self-proclaimed title of "master thief."
That is to say, they met in jail.
While Az's own predicament was little more than a misunderstanding (one that would be cleared up only a few hours into his stay behind bars), there was no such miscommunication as to the purpose of Nilo's presence there, nor was the drow hesitant whatsoever in admitting that to the changeling after striking up conversation. As Azzy would come to learn, while Nilonim wasn't very much of a thief, he was extremely excellent at getting into (and out of) places that he had no business being.
Having grown up in one of the drow settlements in the underground realm of Khyber, Nilonim left the dark realms of his childhood behind to seek out trouble on the surface. In the shady circles that knew him by name, Nilo was a rather well known escape artist, though he has not been sighted nor heard from in many years.

Persona Usage

In general, Azzy uses the persona of Nilonim Vrammyr sparingly and generally for the unique situations in which his skillset and demeanor will be a tool rather than a hindrance. His skill with thieves' tools is an asset that often cannot be worked around when a lock stands in the way, and given dire enough circumstance the folly of his personality is a casualty easily mitigated.
That said, Az has used Nilonim's strange and off balance demeanor to his advantage before. There are very few situations in which a loud mouthed drow wouldn't present an excellent distraction to, even if it's not a particular tactic Azzy is fond of putting into action unless absolutely necessary.

Social Aptitude

Socially inept is a good catch-all descriptor for the Nilonim that Az met as well as the Nilonim that has developed into his divergent persona. Everything from his race to the way he tends to openly stare at anything that may be catching his attention has a way of putting off even the most steady of people. While he does have a rather florid humor, it's a tossup as to whether or not any attempts at it will go over well or simply offend the masses.

Speech

Nilonim's eccentricities are perhaps most outwardly evident in his speech patterns. There's an obvious lack of forethought put into just about anything that comes out of his mouth which puts on display much of the unnerving childishness of his inner thoughts. Needlessly to say, Nilo's is not a persona that's meant for discretion or any kind of tactful procedure as he will speak his mind even if unprompted, and whatever he has to say will be vastly inappropriate for the given situation with near certainty.
