The Divine Court of Taisha

The Divine Court of Taisha is the country's highest governing body.  It consists of seven seats, which are elected among the gods:
The position of High Chancellor is held by Hyal Beldok and is considered the head of state.   The position of High Judge is held by Iyeton Utulin and is responsible for overseeing the legal system.
The position of High Defender is held by Ethun Jax and is responsible for homeland defense. 
The position of High Merchant is held by Ufali Kimlantu and is responsible for organizing the state's economic policies as decided by the High Counsel. 
The position of High Moderator is held by Yantu Katoh and is responsible for managing internal affairs. 
The position of High Architect is held by Valli Kenliok and is responsible for maintaining the infrastructure around the state's anchor to the Engine of the Universe. 
The position of High Advocate is held by Ovku Hef and is responsible for foreign relations.
While it isn't a requirement for a Court member to be a god, the seats are elected among the gods, so no mortal has ever had a successful campaign. The closest instance would be High Chronicler Vohrgi Nell, who has accrued enough political power to become an unofficial honorary member of the Court.
