Blind Mare Inn

The Blind Mare Inn provides food, drink, and beds for a fee to travelers.
The Inn has a sculpture of a rearing mare out front, enabling the inn to stand out from the other buildings in Wintershire. A traveler was robbed and found himself unable to pay for his stay and food, in payment, he carved the sculpture, and Peregrin considered his bill paid.
The inn has a limited menu, due to the geography of the place and the fact that it isn't on the main trade routes. But despite that, the owner and proprietor Peregrin Stormcloud does her best to offer good food. Out of this need, she invented Robean, a hot, stimulating drink that is dark brown, tastes slightly earthy and strong but has garnered a reputation for being stimulating and invigorating. Peregrin grows these beans herself, in indoor planters assisted by magically enhanced soil that Eri created before she fell ill.
Her husband, Hamnet, brews their beer and mead and cuts the wood needed for their fireplaces, common fire, and all guest rooms. (There are five). He also hunts for the meat needed by the inn, as well as Naledi Meridian since she is unable to hunt or fish.
There are few rules at the inn.

• No fighting inside
• No blades used in anger indoors
• Hands off Peregrin

The menu at the Blind Mare consists of (but changes with seasonal and daily availability

• roasted carrots, tubers, and mushrooms (when available)
• roasted chicken
• roasted Habgar
• fried apples (when available)
• fruit pie (when fruit can be sourced from the South)
• fish fillets
• meat pies
• Robean
• mead
• beer

The guest rooms are on the main floor, and are sparse, but kept clean. (Peregrin keeps a separate room upstairs, beside their own rooms, for Naledi, at no cost.)
