Joye Cornelia Falx (a.k.a. Jo-Jo)

Joye grew up protected by her older sister and always keeps a good mood, she enlightens everyone in the room and loves to play pranks and such. When her sister was killed she didn’t let it drag her down but instead made a friend in her maid, Deon.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Joye is very agile and has a normal height and weight. She values agility over fitness mostly because she doesn’t need muscles with her magic. Her magic is extremely powerful, to the extent of getting out of hand sometimes although she usually has it under control.

Body Features

Joye is very pale but her skin colors very quickly. Her hair is long, straight and stark white.

Identifying Characteristics

Her stark white hair is very long and noticeable but also her very dark black eyes which holds a depth and light in them despite what could be expected.

Physical quirks

Joye is very proud of herself and doesn’t let any others thoughts about her bother her. She is often very happy and skips around most of the time. If she is bored she might dance a little in place, or play around with her fingers subconsciously.

Special abilities

She is a blackwitch and has all the powers that includes, she can absorb energies and temporarily take another abilities for her own. She is a very powerful witch so stronger magic is natural to her and doesn’t make her break a sweat though it can be straining to control sometimes.

Her clothes differs greatly from each other, she isn’t ashamed to be wearing anything as long as she is comfortable and likes it herself although her friend Deon probably could get her to give her outfit a second thought if necessary.

Personal history

Born into the Falx household she grew up in the coven and was fostered to believe in their cause. She never got the attention she wanted from her mother but her oldest cousin took her under her wing and told her about the real world which seemed much more brighter, worth fighting for. Joye misses her cousin but has made a friend in Deon, her maid which is the only person she can trust to keep a secret. She wants to be better than her family but doesn’t know how, especially since she doesn’t want to leave Deon on her own.

Education

Trained thoroughly, mostly in the magical arts, by the Falx household. She knows mostly about dark and forbidden magic but also other kinds and lots of history with focus on the witches.

History

Deon and Joye grew up in the Falx residence together and upon growing older Deon was placed as Joye’s personal maid. As a result of that the girls spend a lot of time together, not many pay attention to Deon and Joye often feels that Deon is the only one she can trust.

Nicknames & Petnames

Deon slips occasionally and call Joye, Jo-Jo, but takes her work seriously in company of others and appears polite on most times. Joye calls Deonisia, Deon, mostly but the name can change in different situations in a joke or the whole name in serious conversations.

Relationship Reasoning

Joye trusts only Deon to not have a hidden purpose but actually only talk to her as a friend, she’s loyal and trustworthy. For Deon, Joye is the only one who pays her respect and enough attention to keep a conversation with.
