Walking Mureer

The Walking Mureer, a deadly plant located in the swamps surrounding Olkwood. This plant is said to be more living creature than plant and has a vengeance towards anyone who explores the swamps. The rumors are, the Walking Mureer was created by Silvanas and were injected with magic to protect the city of Olkwood from all intruders.

 

The plant got it's name from the fact that it slowly creeps around entangling those that get too close. It appears to be a vine and is as tough as think leather. Those wandering through the swamps experience being tripped, whipped, and blocked from proceeding further into the swamps. Making boat travel the safer option of travel. Many horror stories have been told of those camping in the swamps waking up being completely coiled by the Walking Mureer. Unable to move or break free, the Walking Mureer slowly tightens until the victim suffocates. It is highly advised to not stay in the swamps overnight, however, some adventures and alchemist test their luck.

 

This plant also has magical properties and is used as an alchemical agent. The Walking Mureer is used in most nature based potions, which usually makes it a druid favorite. Anyone who wishes to collect Walking Mureer, tend to find it easily in the swamps, they usually just have to wait, for it to come to them. It can be distinguished by a thick vine, brown in color, and rough bark like skin. The main giveaway is spotting the vine moving, which can be difficult. They only way to harvest the vine is using a fire enchanted dagger, however, it is also advised that you gather small amounts and leave the swamp. Staying too long, the vines will surround you and try to defend itself.
