Grand Library of Astea

Standing tall in the City of Astea is the main worship place to Altaric, Scion of Preservation and History. The grand library is said to be a rebuild of an older version somewhere in the past though with its vast amounts of knowledge stored over the years that Astea is now under the control of the Stantons its records have grown to be the best and most complete on this side of the planet.
Adjacent to the large building is the school most reknown for prodigies and rich kids all over the Regency. Most nobles sent their kids to this school in hope of giving them a proper education for years to come. Once a year clerics of Altaric go out to the Regency to look and find the best and brightest to ask them to join their school, to be taught by the followers of Altaric himself. They teach traditions and values of history in great amounts showing the youth of today that past mistakes are not to be made again and how history can help with that.
The access to the library itself though is limited to only those deemed worthy of such knowledge and the clerics of Altaric himself. While teaching is important it is also important to preserve the traditions and a formal test for the access to the library has to be finished determining if you're worthy or not.
The school as well as the library is run by the Librarians - an organization of deeply spiritual Clerics to Altaric who are loyal to the Stantons.
