Darkspawn Behemoths

Of all the classes of Darkspawn, none incite fear in civilians and Magical Girls alike more than the Darkspawn Behemoth. Dwarfing all others on the battlefield, sightings of these creatures are thankfully few and far between. If an entire force of Behemoths were to attack Twlight City.... why, I shudder to think of the consequences.   ~ Cade Macclery, Magic Defense League researcher
Giants. Titans. Daikaiju. Behemoths.   Call them what you want, these Darkspawn are the embodiment of pure, unbridled destruction. Thankfully, Behemoths are fairly rare; the last known sighting of one was almost five years ago now, although it is presumed that the destruction of Delta City six months ago was the work of one such beast.   This class of Darkspawn, in addition to being the largest, is also the most varied. Many variants that fall into the Behemoth category exist, and no two sightings have ever been the same. While most take a humanoid shape, other noted form-factors include large, chitinous bugs, giant reptiles, and in one report a black ooze that rose up from the sewers one night and consumed an entire City-nation.   The main weapon of a Behemoth is it's size. Just moving through a city results in large amounts of collateral damage. However, this is not their only weapon. Gouts of flame, poisonous fog, and breaths of lighting accompany natural weapons such as claws and teeth as well as eerily human weapons like massive swords.    Once past the termination radius of a City-nation's shielding unit, a Behemoth seeks only destruction and will move itself towards anything still standing. As such, it's usual targets are the high-profile buildings of a cityscape; high-rise buildings, skyscrapers, and perimeter walls all draw the focus of these Darkspawn.

Uses, Products & Exploitation

The Behemoth often fills a living siege-weapon role in attacks by the Darkspawn. A particularly large and aggressive Behemoth can even overcome a City-nation's shielding unit in the bright of day. Much to the relief of the Magic Defense League, however, rarely are they ever accompanied with additional Darkspawn, and never have there been any recorded cases of two being in the same place at the same time.
Average Height
While no two behemoths share the same form or size, there is a general consensus that in order to qualify for this class of Darkspawn the creature must be at least 200 feet in a single measurement. This can be length or height, and only counts for the central mass of the monster; hair, feathers, tongues of flame, or other such bodily additives are not considered when making this measurement.   This is usually made as rough estimate, of course, due to the impracticality and danger of trying to get close enough to such beasts.
