The Great Glorifiers

Before the new gods from the First Alliance came to Tunoda in the First Skystone and confronted the Great Old Ones, the world was brimming with chaos as it was reigned by the likes of Chtutulu.
The great glorifiers are worshipers of the Great Old Ones and would do anything to bring back the glorious days of chaos. Compared to worshipers of other religions, the great glorifiers are small in numbers. A relatively high density of glorifiers is found in the High Desert and Skazire in particular. They believe the vulcanic acitivy in the area are signs of communication from the Old One that originally created the vulcano. Branches of glorifiers focus on various aspects of this counter-cultural world view. Some take a scholarly approach to increase their understanding of past times and collect data and proof of lingering Old Ones magic, hoping to someday combine the pieces and catch a glimpse of existing Old Ones.
An alternative approach is that of the cultists, which believe that intense worshiping of the Old Ones will strengthen their existance and help them to reclaim their former glory. Cultists are known to create secret temples and places of worship. These kinds of activities are considered highly illegal and are combatted by the Royal Guard.
Others take a more antagonistic approach and believe that eradicating worshipers of contradicting religions will create more opportunities for the Old Ones to regain their power. Many, for outsiders inexplicable, acts of cruelty find their motivation in this kind of reasoning. From vandalism of temples and churches to murders of religious leaders and followers. These acts are viewed as offerings to the Great Old Ones.
