Resting place of the sea dragon mother

In this hard to find alcove in a sea cave, the Daughter of the sea dragon king laid her last egg. The egg is protected from outsiders by a series of challenges meant to test if a visitor is worthy to take the egg, breed it, and care for the baby sea dragon until it reaches an age of independence.

Purpose / Function

The challenges that the prospective adoptive parent of the baby sea dragon must face will test them on:

• ethics: do they have the right view on what is good and bad to teach the baby sea dragon these valuable lessons? 
• strength: baby sea dragons grow quickly and part of teaching it is to correct it when necessary.
• intelligence: sea dragons are highly intelligent creatures that need an intelligent mentor.
• intention: only someone who wants the baby sea dragon to grow up to be an independent sea dragon that can repopulate the seas with the species, may take the egg. 

Failure of any of the first three tests will result in removal from the scene. Failure of the last test with intentions of taking the egg for personal gain will result in death almost surely.
