Nyarlathotep's Tome

During the era of chaos, the Great Old Ones ruled over Tunoda, tormenting all other forms of life. After the accidental Arrival at Tunoda of the The First Skystone, the four heroes were aided by mortals and discovered that the planet was more than just the infamous home of the Old Ones. They set out on a quest to free the mortals from the everlasting torments and found an unexpected ally in Nyarlathotep.
His love for Jelleah led him to see the beauty of the commonfolk and he became sympathetic to the cause of the new heroes. During the many battles fought in this war, Nyarlathotep set out to create the Silver Rose. It was originally meant to immortalise Jelleah, but she tragically perished during one of the battles. As not all of the Old Ones could be defeated, the new heroes changed tactics and succeeded in temporarily banishing the others away from the planet. Knowing they would once again rise to be powerful, the only option was to magically shield and hide the planet from the outside. They bundled their magical abilities and together created the shield.
The upkeep of this shield however was a greater task than anticipated, with constant outside forces trying to harm the planet. It could only be performed by the heroes, who were starting to age and become weaker. Nyarlathotep decided to utilise his tome and the silver rose to immortalise all of the heroes so that they could forever maintain the magical shield. Without a continous tredly cycle of sacrifice, the juice of sacrifice will evaporate and become illegible, resulting in mortality and inevitable death of the heroes, defects in the magical shield and demise of the planet.
