Torael

A city separated from the rest of the world by a vast distance, Torael is unique for a number of reasons. Firstly, it is a city built atop itself. Seven rings circle around the island's rocky edges, which rise some six hundred feet from the ocean's edge. The central column of the city's construction is a single citadel: the Tower of Speaking. Secondly, a creature standing on the floor of the city's first ring can see the sky only through a tangle of bridges, nets, and walkways that connect floating masses of stone and wood, held aloft by powerful magics.
