Summary
The leader of a band of mercenaries working from under the Ikkō Ikki, collectively known as the Saika Ikki. Saika Magoichi is a samurai of noble upbringing who has eschewed all ties with her previous family and status. Instead, she supports the Ikkō Ikki's more radical views of equality and power in the hands of the people. Her lack of political ties allows her freedom to run her group of mercenaries for profit, most of which she funnels back into communities which have been "liberated" by the movement. Magoichi has a tactical mind, a decent knack for leadership, and mastery over her own ki. These qualities, combined with her unique, custom-made rifle make her a respectable force on the battlefield. Her personality can be described as open and self-assured, though she has very little patience for those who abuse their power, and tends to take a poor impression of nobles or officers in traditional clans until proven otherwise. Her mercenaries in particular are very loyal to her, inspired by her tendency to treat them as equals rather than assets to be commanded. From Magoichi's perspective, she takes the lead simply because she has a talent for it, and not because of any right of birth or status.Unique Abilities
Three-Taloned Crow: When she accumulates ki, Saika Magoichi's aura appears in a corporeal form, taking the shape of a large, armored guardian behind her. This guardian mirrors Techniques she uses with her rifle, allowing her to add the quality "Additional Attack +2" to all of her Techniques at no cost. Other effects tied to these Techniques still only affect the first shot where applicable, unless she also purchases the (Multiple) version. Magoichi's guardian has no physical presence and cannot be damaged by attacks. Any attack that can damage energy that strikes it (by an aimed attack defended against by Magoichi as normal), regardless of whether it does damage, disrupts the guardian for her next turn. While disrupted, the guardian does not mirror Magoichi's attacks, and she loses the free additional attacks this ability normally grantsMental characteristics
