Summary:

Kirin is a mythical beast who appears only once in a millennia, and only when a great threat to the country of Japan. The land summoned her in the current era in order to hunt down and close the three rifts which opened in various locations, forming gaping holes to other, hostile realms. As another major power with the same goal, she soon allied herself to the Hashinara Clan, and now serves as one of their generals while the campaign against the portals proceeds.
Though she is an extension of the land, Kirin herself is quite agreeable and intelligent, and carries on normal conversations as if she wasn't an incredibly powerful nature avatar. The concept of hobbies is somewhat alien to her, but she does enjoy fashion and fine clothes, provided they are woven from natural fibers, of course

Unique Abilities:

King of Beasts: Kirin may use a unique invocation which allows her to adopt all of the powers of one of the Four Cardinal Beasts in Arcana Exxet, page 68. This invocation has a difficulty of 440, a cost of 1000 Zeon, and replaces the original Kirin invocation's "Feng Shui" ability. It has a duration of one turn, plus one extra turn for each 10 points by which Kirin exceeds the difficulty. During this time, she may use any of the abilities of her chosen Cardinal Beast as they are described in Arcana Exxet. For the purposes of this ability, the invocation's power and duration are based on this invocation's difficulty rather than that required by the original Cardinal Beast. Kirin may only use the powers of one Cardinal Beast at a time. In addition to the above abilities, Kirin is immune to supernatural techniques that attempt to directly control her, as well as all Summoning abilities, though her emotions and perceptions may still be altered. This immunity ends if Kirin is shackled or otherwise bound in iron.
