Ishida Mitsunari
Supplicant of Primal Flame
Spirit Caller Ishida Mitsunari (a.k.a. 石田 三成)
Summary
A major general of the Kuroda Clan, and one of former Daimyō Oda Nobunaga's most trusted retainers. Ishida Mitsunari held much more power before her crushing defeat at the hands of the Hashinara Clan, and she has been working since to repair her reputation and holdings. A student of all manner of religious and superstitious methods, she practices a strange set of obeisances that include a mix of Shintoism, Hinduism, and even aspects of the Ryukyuan faith. While none beyond Mitsunari herself seem to understand the traditions she follows, they seem to be effective, as she is able to call upon the aid of two different goddesses, Garuda and Kagutsuchi, both aspects of primal fire. Mitsunari is popular among the soldiers who follow her both because of her laid-back, personable attitude and her strong leadership. She places the safety of those under her command at a higher priority than most generals, and will not hesitate to surrender if she feels that continuing a fight will only lead to more pointless bloodshed. Some see her as a cultural hero, but this feeling has been dampened by rumors that she consorts freely with the Oda Clan's enemies.Mental characteristics
