Bemolle
Major or Minor, Always Flat
Summary
One of the Children of Avatea who have fled from the oppressive stagnation of the Lunar Empire in an attempt to find purpose in Japan. Bemolle is the shortest and smallest of her siblings, but still stands a bit above average for a Japanese woman. Her hair and clothing are starkly monochromatic black and white, as are the two rapiers that grace her slender hips. These weapons are curiously-shaped and of fine workmanship. Like her sister Umbriel's weapon, the rapiers no doubt hide some unorthodox power. As her name would imply, Bemolle is... flat. In personality, she is direct and forthright without much trace of guile. Her voice is monotone and largely without inflection. As a result, Bemolle often tries to embellish her speech with descriptive words to convey her emotions. This is a quirk which endears her to some, and causes others to find her unbearably tiresome to listen to. Although dropped into this world separately from her siblings by their own design, Bemolle has not yet managed to find a home. After being rejected by Hōjō Ujiyasu, she attached herself to Ryūzaki Sanosuke in an attempt to leach some of his style. Bemolle firmly believes that if she can become "cool" enough, Ujiyasu will eventually agree to adopt her as one of his many daughters.
