Thórs

Thórs are small forest creatures that stem from Trollskóg. They have a friendly nature and many tales speak of them as the gardeners of Trollskóg. They perform small feats of magic, such as growing trees, reverting rot, extinguishing small fires, and lifting rocks a hundred times their own weight.   Thórs looks almost like short, plump trees. They have the form of a tear drop with four to eight legs made of roots. A few branches and leaves make up the top of their heads, and they have something similar to a tree canker which forms around a single eye. The eye is a small dot of yellow light.   Thórs can be found in many forests, but they are notoriously hard to find. They hide well and are nimble tree climbers. People who claim to have interacted with a thórs has said they are shy and humble creatures, and are very curious about humans.   Though they seem cute and nice, thórs also has a vile nature to them. Hostility or neglect towards the forest they live in is retaliated in tenfolds. They will summon locusts to eat your crops, command wolves to kill your livestock and animate trees to kill you when you wander through the forest. This is why people pay homage to a forest if they believe a thórs has taken up residency in it.
