Melchior
Appearance
Physical Condition
In comparison to many of the beings of the world of Troenn, and to most of his fellow deities, Melchior is very much a small being. He is often seen as frail and completely malnourished, ready to collapse at a moment's notice. But his outward appearance completely hides his true strength, as when he finds something to latch onto, he will with surprising speed and extreme ferocity, faster than any other being imaginable. Besides his general physical capabilities, there's the fact that he looks similar to the demonic entities that he fathered, containing a set of long, sharp claws that stretch across multiple meters. Also, his spine to his tail has a large set of curved spikes that slowly creep out of the matted, wiry hair atop his head.Facial Features
Melchior's face composes of two, small beady eyes that are deeply set within wrinkles upon wrinkles on his face and a wide, face-splitting smile that continually never closes. More important, it shows a perfect set of pristine, sharpened teeth to offset the tangled mess of wiry hair that trails from his scalp.Apparel & Accessories
Aside from the long, flowing streaks of fabric that cover him from waist-to-feet, Melchior has little to nothing else on him. The only other thing of important would happen to be the pure, white crystal with a deep, dark cloudiness centered within Melchior's chest known as the Chain Heart, and from it is a long ethereal chain that ties Melchior into the Demiplane of the Abyss, far from his children that scramble around in the Void.Divinity
Divine Domains
Before his corruption, Melchior was actually considered one of the most righteous beings of all. As such, when he fell to madness and temptation, Melchior became entirely corrupted and obsessive, wishing to eradicate all life at any chance possible. Thus, from the time when he was the ruler of order and good, he has now descended into death, eldritch knowledge, and complete madness.Scripture & Symbol
Melchior's deeds have been lost to time by Arkan himself. This was, in part, due to Melchior betraying Arkan in their plan of ruling the outer planes in favor of annihilation of everything. So, unfortunately, any scriptures left are either so far buried underneath in deep dungeons and caves or trapped with him in his cell on Carceri. Melchior, unlike many of the other gods, has been lost to time as a punishment for his creation of the Void. So, while his symbol was once a circle with a ring of jagged spikes, it is now unknown to much of the world. Even the followers of Melchior don't truly know who they're worshipping, rather they just believe in the same ideals as he does.Tenets of Melchior
