Behast
Appearance
Physical Condition
Humanoid, but certainly not like any normal human that's exited. Behast stands tall above his subjects, looking down from above with the strength of the sun and stars themselves. As such, he fears nothing, radiating his glory wherever he treads and even leaving behind the scorched marks of his soles upon the earth as he treads. His strength can become variable, however. As the sun waxes, it rises, and when it wanes, it begins to diminish. Thus, while at noon, he could rival even Asmos in terms of raw power, it will subside shortly after that as he weakens from the sun preparing to set afterward. As for his figure, it strikes a pose that is often seen carved within the halls of the city of Narmer. His skin, a dark, burnt copper that is bisected by cascading runes which appear to shimmer with sunlight. His hair, a great mass of grey that floats upwards that is matched only by the sharp, tilted ears that are reminiscent of his children's, the elves.Facial Features
Behast's face is cut into smooth edges, belying the true strength and force behind his pure-white gaze. Similarly to his chest and arms, Behast's eyes each have a trail coming from his hair with the sun seeming to glow through it. Besides these subtle features, the most important thing to note is his complete lack of eyebrows or facial hair, both being smooth as silk and entirely hairless.Apparel & Accessorioes
Behast is a man who likes to show his greatness, and thus, he does so in the most effective way possible, with his great might. He wears a set of three golden bands upon both of his arms that are carved with celestial runes to summon any of the numerous magical armaments hidden away in the Vault of Shakan. Besides this, he wears a set of white, satin trousers with a large, black belt to sinch it close to his waist. Besides this, he will occasionally wear a sleeveless satin shirt in order to walk among mortals. But, most important is the golden circlet that lies upon his head with small spikes adorned, making a miniature sun.Divinity
Divine Domains
Behast has become known as simply 'the sun' to many of his followers. As such, Behast has been rather restricted in his abilities. But, besides his power of the sun, he's also been seen to be a great and powerful warrior. Thus, many recognize him as a god of both war and light.Scripture & Symbol
Behast, more than any other god, is commonly written down within the Codex of Righteous Deeds due to his never-ending willingness to fight for the people. As such, many paladins have begun to pen different types of scrolls to understand his tenets. Many of which have been compiled together into the Prayers of Behast as well as the Giving Lord's Light which follow with understanding that Behast's light has given unto the people a time in which they can survive and be free to live their lives without fear, a time without darkness. Behast himself, believing that the sun is an extension of himself, once told an oracle of his named Sul that he must "recognize Behast as if he were the sun itself." As such, many of his followers only recognize his worship under the symbol of a sun, but there has been the rise of a newer sect that instead has an ever-watchful flaming eye as a symbol to represent his vigil over the world during the day.Tenets of Behast
Hold Fast In Darkness. One should never allow for darkness to cloud their mind from doing what is good and just. Shelther The Light. Whenever you come across a place of good, keep it safe from corruption. Raise The Mighty. If someone has become a protector of the land, assist them when possible. Strike The Tainted. Those afflicted by the madness of the Chained, or the greed of Arkan should be destroyed.Divine Goals
Behast has two simple goals: destroy Arkan so that he no longer threatens the free will given to mortals, and to keep the Chained One locked away so that the Void may never have the chance to grow.Mental characteristics

Holy Days
The Ides of Xir
The Ides of Xir commemorate the rising of the sun on the first days within the spring season. This is important because it shows the renewal of life and good from the darkness and representing the renewal of the reign of Behast. As such, the deity finds this day to be the most important as it brings about greater faith for his benevolence in fear of suffering his wrath after waking from his slumber.
The Slumber of the Sun
Near the beginnings of winter, the suns begin to set more quickly, as Behast begins to slumber. People see this as a time of fear because, without the ever-watchful eye of the Raging Sun, thieves are more likely to skulk around in the night.
