Hanom, Seaborne

Seaborne hanomi are almost exclusively found either on the Seaborne Islands or along the coasts of the mainland although they occasionally also travel up or down large rivers, but wherever they’re found, they don't tend to stay there long. Seaborne hanomi spend most of their life on or in water, sailing from place to place.

• Ability Scores: Seaborne hanomi lack the agility of their cousins, but are much hardier, especially for their size. They gain +2 Constitution, +2 Wisdom, -2 Strength. This racial trait replaces the normal hanom Ability Score modifiers.
• Seaborne Magic: Seaborne hanomi are treated as one level higher when casting spells with the water descriptor, using granted powers of the water domain, the bloodline powers of the water elemental bloodline, and/or revelations of the oracle's waves mystery. This ability does not give them early access to level-based powers; it only affects the powers they could use without this ability. In addition, a seaborne hanom with Charisma scores of 10 or higher also gain the following spell-like abilities:

1/day—create water, know direction & prestidigitation. The caster level for these effects is equal to the seaborne hamom’s level; the DCs are Charisma-based. This racial trait replaces Hanom Magic.
• Life on the Waves: Seaborne hanomi spend most of their life at sea and on boats where nimbleness in the water is more important than nimbleness on land, giving them a 20ft swim speed and a +8 racial bonus on Swim checks. In addition, they have a remarkable ability to hold their breath, increasing the amount of time they can hold their breath to a number of minutes equal to twice their Constitution score rather than a number of rounds equal to twice their Constitution score. This racial trait replaces Sure-Footed.
