Alfur, Common

The term used for those alfur of mixed or uncertain heritage, often due to having spent a lot of time living among other races or travelling the world, rather than settling in any one place.

Standard Racial Traits
Ability Score Racial Traits: Alfurs are nimble of body and sharp of mind but their form is frail. They gain +2 Dexterity, +2 Intelligence, and –2 Constitution.
Size: Alfurs are Medium creatures and thus receive no bonuses or penalties due to their size.
Type: Alfurs are Humanoids with the alfur subtype.
Base Speed: Alfurs have a base speed of 30 feet.
Languages: Alfurs begin play speaking Common and their background language (see background, below). Alfurs with high Intelligence scores can choose from any other language available to their background.
Defence Racial Traits
Alfur Immunities: Alfur are immune to magic sleep effects and gain a +2 racial saving throw bonus against enchantment spells and effects.
Feat and Skill Racial Traits
Keen Senses: Alfurs receive a +2 racial bonus on Perception checks.
Magical Racial Traits
Alfur Magic: Alfurs receive a +2 racial bonus on caster level checks made to overcome spell resistance. In addition, alfurs receive a +2 racial bonus on Spellcraft skill checks made to identify the properties of magic items.
Offence Racial Traits
Weapon Familiarity: Alfurs are proficient with longbows (including composite longbows), longswords, rapiers, and shortbows (including composite shortbows), and treat any weapon with the word “alfur” in its name as a martial weapon.
Senses Racial Traits
Low-light Vision: Alfurs can see twice as far as humans in conditions of dim light.
Other Racial Traits
Timeless: Alfurs are functionally immortal, not only in that they can effectively live forever (so long as they avoid a violent death) but that they also stop ageing entirely once they have reached adulthood. Unfortunately, this also makes them much slower to learn from experience and as a result while they do not gain any physical ability score penalties due to ageing, they also do not gain any mental ability score bonuses. This also makes Alfurs immune to any spells or effects that magically age them.
