Istobarra was fond of being the wild card between her two sisters until she was abandoned by her house and kidnapped by another city. A house war gave her the cover to escape to the surface where she found a new set of dangers, a rogue male elf hell bent on killing her. After several encounters she was able to put together a house of rogue dark elves who were just trying to make a new beginning for themselves. Unfortunately the Spider Queen had plans of her own. Istobarra now bands her new house together to war against undead, trolls, demons, and everything else that has been plaguing the world while trying to figure out the Spider Queen's plans.
A fight with a powerful shade through the shadow realms had left her for dead. Through her connect to the undead she was able to recover and take the shadow blade from the shade's undead body. While very powerful, the shadow blade is slowly consuming her and draining her of her life.

Holding together a house of dark elves who are constantly suspicious of each other, trying to keep the various religious points of view from clashing, and staving off continual racism towards our kind has been hard enough. Trying to establish trade routes with our neighbors was nearly impossible. Now I lead us through one battle after another while just trying to survive. What more do you want?

It was bad enough to have to be in the Trolls Wars, but now, with the vacuum of power, the lich in the ruined city of Grandfolk has been making his move. Yet, I can't help but feel that all of this is some greater scheme and that everyone is being manipulated to some greater purpose.
