Demographics

By vast majority the town is made up of third or fourth generation Ardunians, most of whom are farmers or fishermen.

Government

The local "lord" is a man by the name of Lostur Pyke, a man of Esterly background. He owns the land that the town's buildings are built on, and functions essentially as a headman or a townmaster, fielding complaints and requests from the citizens.

Infrastructure

Aside from the docks and the lumbermill, there isn't a whole lot of industry to be found.

History

Lake Post was founded thirty years after the Shared Dream by Mable Pyke, who laid claim to the area and helped build the road from Songsword. The settlement was something of a stopover for exploratory groups mapping out the continent or looking for overland travel routes to the northern coast of Ardun. Over time, people started settling there, attracted by the pretty hills, fertile soil, and the abundance of fish in the lake.
