Ilierilde

The Labyrinthine Wood draws in all who dare walk near it. The fey within love to toy with mortals who step within its boundaries, and oft force them to wander the forest for the rest of their lives. Some, like those within Mill's Pass have made deals with the fey to pass through freely. Others are allowed to reside there simply for the entertainment of the fey.
A group named simply Ilierilde resides in the southeastern-most corner of the Labyrinthine Wood. Though their beliefs are strange, they are a peaceful people who simply wish to bring about the resurrection of their gods.

History

Centuries ago, a halfling by the name of Thomas Culdger wandered into the Labyrinthine Woods, lured in by its dazzling lights and exciting melodies. There, the fey played perhaps their nastiest prank of all, tricking the halfling into believing they were spirits of ancient gods. If they were resurrected, they promised to bring riches and glory to those who had helped them.
The promise of great power and vast amounts of gold was enough for Thomas, and so he wandered back to his home village. There, he would tell anyone who would listen of the spirits in the woods, and how if they helped him they too would be blessed.
Most saw that Thomas had been tricked, and could only pity the young halfling. Others, blinded by greed, followed the halfling back to the Labyrinthine Wood. The group then established a commune there.
It started out small, but expanded as the group grew larger in number. As the years passed, the population was no longer filled with hearts of greed, but of love for nature and everything in it. Still, though, they wished to resurrect the dead gods that had brought them there centuries ago.
Still they stay in the Labyrinthine Wood, as the fey laugh on.

Society

The rules in Ilierilde would be downright bizarre to anyone who had not lived there themselves. Anyone is welcome to use anything that they wish, and do whatever they like so long as it doesn't bring harm to animals or people.
The fey often give the halflings potent hallucinogenics, which they use in strange rituals.
All of the food eaten in Ilierilde is plant-based.
