City of Panheim
The City of Panheim sit the the sides of the Twin Peaks Mountain overlooking both the sea in the west and the plains in the east Panheim is Pandysias captial and largest city, since well, it's its only city.
The city itself is sprawling and buzzing with life, from the farming outskirts to the lower distrcits with the harbors and tight alleyways over to the upperclass and government districts build on natural and manmade palteaus throning over the city.
The southern mountain houses, the gorvernment district, the temple district, industry and the industrial harbour as well as military instalation and a big airfield.
The northern part features the upper class districts, working class districts, the fishing harbour and most farms.
To move between the two mountain parts you can either take the two bridges or use the airship shuttle service which dock at different places in the city. The streets and alleyways are two tight and too steep for most vehicles so the majority of transports are done via air.
Attractions
One of the countless curiosities that Panheim features is the Hanging Market a platform installation, which is suspended from the lower of the two bridges (the White Bridge). I can als orecommend visiting the temple district, with its temples that are build directly into the mountainsides. Another place worth visiting is the small harbour in the Harbour Bay and the adjacent "Bird District", keep in mind to bring a map though, as you can easily get lost in the tight alleyways between the historical buildings made from rough stone. Above it all thrones the imposing looking governmental district which is currently restrict to the public.History
Panheim was founded by outcasts and traders who wandered between Kingdom of Elysia and Empire of Nordmark in the Plains of Pandysia. Due to the lack of natural ressources and hostile enviroment, nobody really layed claim to these lands and if they weren't really keen on going to war over them. Pandysia was noman's land, the land of the wind. If for some reason neither of these countries were suitable for you (for example if you 'accidentally' called one of the monarchs the aft end of a horse) you'd often find yourself in Pandysia.
And so people started building houses and farms around the mountains, surviving by catching fish and working the land. Allthough Pandysia has native nomadic tribes, they usually stayed out of the city, with the new government now more than ever.
