Ghoul Cloth

A fabric material found scattered around The Yellowstone Plane that absorbs UV lights. It's used by a handful of Trappers for thermal vision.

Discovery

First located in The Cold Cabin located further in The Yellowstone Plane. Strips of the cloth were found on the body of a corpse's wrists.
A distinct glow emitted from cloth, showing a heat signature below the house.
Explorers retrieved the corpse along with its belongings back to Outpost Bessie .

Availability

Ghoul Cloth is not a material that can be replicated or manufactured. The only method of obtaining it is by either being employed under Kingfisher Limited Tends or through underbelly businesses that have smuggled the item through Outpost Abigail, Wyoming.

Utility

The cloth has the unique property of seeing heat signatures through itself. The heat signatures are represented through red to yellow gradients, with cold signatures represented as black/darkness to contrast the temperatures.
Trappers employed by Kingfisher Limited are given a strip of ghoul cloth as an advantageous tool for hunting beasts. Though due to the scarcity of the material, only one strip per trapper; nothing more. Trappers would tie the cloth aorund their eyes liek a lbindfold to gain the full capapbilities of the material.

Manufacturing

Methods in replicating this material have been unsuccessful. The only source of harvesting Ghoul Cloth is by finding the material scattered throughout the Yellowstone Plane. However, you may manipulate and cut the cloth to specifications
A possible theory is that the cloth is linked to the plane itself, being a filter to see what the true architecture of this dimension is truly like.
Additionally, various species of beasts and cryptids have been documented to possess heat-detecting vision similar to the utilities of Ghoul Cloth.
Does this correlation link these outer threats of our world with the bellowing expanse(s) filled with intrigue and mystery?

I love the mystery of this cloth! Great functionality and quite scarce.. I imagine it can be pretty devastating to lose the one scrap you're given, given how helpful they appear to be.
