Alexander Hartridge

Professor Alexander 'Charles' Hartridge was a British geographer and Phenomacist, and is considered 'The Grandfather of Paranormal Science' who helped lead international collaborations on all forms of Cryptids, Phenomena, Anomalies, and more.

History

-Early Life

Hartridge grew up in Kingston, United Kingdom. The oldest of four children, Young Hartridge was predetermined. Growing up in a wealthy estate, Hartridge was taught etiquette and the ways of a gentleman, which he despised. His free spirit preferred outdoor activities and a general sense of fun. Occasionally mingling with urchin kids which his parents prohibited.   Being the oldest in the family proved high responsibilities and higher expectations. Strict discipline was carried out to steer the young Alexander to a clear and successful career path.   Recent explorations across the world to find new lands proved fascinating to Hasrtridge, pursuing a career path as a geographer, mapping out and surveying the land to determine the full scale of an unknown world. Hartridge graduated from the University of Yates with a master's degree in 1826.

-Migrating to Australia

One such virgin country that has not been entirely explored was the British's new penal colonies in Australia. That rumored land of bountiful terrain and exquisite animals caught the attention of a fresh new geographer as he set sail in 1827. He joined many explorations into Australia's outback, noting and labeling any landmarks or points of interest. His mentor was sir Thomas Whittiker, a renowned explorer tasked by British officials to track and tame the land.

-The First 'Great Road' Expedition

The accidental discovery of The Agnosta Equator first started when Hartridge was testing new equipment on the field in northern Victoria. Upon his person was early developed 'Barr Meter' used to detect strange alterations in particles and alpha waves, usually obvious indicators of cryptids or anomalies being present in the area. The device itself was originally tested in European countries, usually with less alpha waves present based upon the Agnosta Equator Law. But when Hartridge was the peculiar reading around his environment, he began tracking the oddity to see where it goes.   Accompanied by Zoologist, Henry Capehill, and a native Aboriginal guide, the party swept through the country, following a path of high alpha readings along the way. This small expedition was the catalyst in uncovering a scientific breakthrough about the supernatural world; theorizing that almost all strange phenomena in the world are condensed within an imaginary line that pierces through three continents.

-Death

Alexander Hartridge, unfortunately, passed away on August 3rd, 1877 from natural causes. He was buried at the St Kilda Cemetary in Victoria, Australia. The University of Yates named a scholarship in his post-mortem to commemorate his achievements in the field.
