'King/Queen Slayer' Trapper

A respecting title given to Trappers who successfully kill a notorious cryptid or beast known to be extremely deadly and near impossible to hunt.

Cultural Significance

A 'King/Queen Slayer' title is considered a high achievement within circles of Trapper communities, with only a handful scattered around the world to earn it. These high-valued Trappers adopt a 'golden three-pronged crown on a juniper background' symbol/sigil to visually showcase the title to the public; wearing them as patches or badges on their person. Though, this symbol is unofficial in the eyes of DSA regulations as it is prone to forgery and misinformation.   The name 'King Slayer' or 'Queen Slayer' is interchangeable and can be of the preference of the esteemed Trapper.   When trappers exchange formalities amongst themselves, one will often 'peacock' the elusive title after introducing their name:
Harriet Kelly, Queen Slayer
Trappers can also use the title as a form of address:
Queen Slayer Kelly
It's a sure way to earn a respected presence in new territories, showing you're one of the best of the best in the profession.   A fair share of Hunt Wardens would gain advantages in achieving the role with such a title

Requirements

To officially earn the title, one must hunt down and return a cryptid or beast that has a reputation for being elusive and/or catastrophic to go up against.   Wendigoes, Colorado Devil Rams , Mothmen, and Sasquatches usually fit within this category; often proving high difficulty to overwhelm and neutralize.   Upon returning to a DSA Trapper Station located in any county, the Hunt Warden will review the specimen for confirmation. Upon a successful match, the Warden will reward the astounding trapper with a legal document stating an official King Slayer or Queen Slayer title, signed and wax stamped for authenticity.

Benefits

King Slayer Trappers are highly requested amongst locals and officials needing a bounty to be closed. On their official reports, it's equivalent to a gold star to show their skills, bravery, and determination in defeating such a formidable foe.   It's a title on par with being knighted, showcasing a sort of 'celebrity status' amongst townsfolk; often being rewarded free rounds of ale and discounts on sales.
