Haya'Miz

Once the pinnacle of technological advancements such as lightbulbs and steam engines Haya'Miz has now become a ruins of sorts serving as a mass grave for all of Naroshi's elven citizens. Long ago when Saxum first created the elves he did so under the guidance of a Sylph causing him to create his new species in it's image. After several hundred decades and an expansive built around the Sylph with the sole purpose of advancing and spreading all across the continent Saxum left his people from the cape in Hakuma where Postrix rose from the sea once again to grant her brother passage to Havala. It was at this point that the first Strings of Fate within the Elven Lineage were altered, you see Pernicies took this chance, much like when he toyed with Raitsu's heart, to affect the hearts of the Aetheris altering the fate of the world yet again. Pernicies transmitted a deep unshakable fear of destruction at the behest of their deity the Sylph, each Aetheris shared in the same dream of total annihilation of their species and home. They used this dream to incite fear among the other races and while most agreed many fled the island before they could be caught up in the bloodshed that was about to ensue. The five clans that resided in the Aetheris district took up arms and began creating weapons of mass destruction to combat the seemingly omniscient Sylph. They used their powers and knowledge to create magical power enhancing weapons and artifacts to compare to the Sylph's prowess, to negate it's abilities they created large totem capable of sapping magic from nearby enemies of their choice. Everything was set into motion the day after the Collective Nightmare to attack the Sylph but shortly before the clans agreed on a method of attack a small tribe of elves returned from the other end of the Sleeping Sea. To their surprise they were ready to kill the Sylph and take it's power for their own for they had seen an even greater threat beyond the continent that must be stopped. The heads of each species clans prepared for battle and motivated their people as every single individual was joining in this fight. With their collective might and the element of surprise the elves successfully ripped the heart out from the Sylph and killed it, leaving it's small corpse to rot at the foot of the now dead sylvan tree. The elves then took it's power and divided it among themselves granting them all increased magical and technical abilities beyond their comprehension, it was then that they decided to settle Naroshi and prepare for the upcoming onslaught of monsters from Caledencia.
