Hakuma

One of two port towns on Naroshi and the last place to be colonized by the Orotsu. Hakuma is governed by Sanzo & Kimené Orotsu who, through one of the few Churches of Saxum on the continent, controls the town and it's people. Racially diverse with all elves, drakekin, nyanites and primals but with a noticeable class system difference between the races that leaks into where they can live and work. In the housing district where the Elves live there is a grand estate where the Orotsu live and host large parties once a year where the whole town is invited instead of one of the exclusive high elf parties they host often.

Demographics

Most of the town's population resides in the Housing District where all breeds of Elf live in luxury however, anyone not of elven lineage is cast into the slums where they live in squalor with little to no food.

Government

Sanzo and Kimene Orotsu claim dominion over Hakuma dealing in trafficking and drugs behind the scenes and as the Church of Saxum's Mother and Father in the eye of the public. They appear to be benevolent rulers of the cloth to most, but to those in the Hidden Hand, the Slums and the Redlight District they are nothing but dictatorial psychopathic murderers who will stop at nothing to rule over them with an iron fist behind a gentle palm.

Defences

Hakuma's only defenses are the Family Guard from the capital Eval'Nahal and their self armed citizens as all inhabitants are required to take Combat Training to acquire residency in Hakuma.

Industry & Trade

Hakuma primarily uses fishing exports to fund their town but can also rely on the trade district's income taxes as well as the housing and slums residential taxes to sustain themselves.

Infrastructure

At the front of the town you can see the pride of Hakuma, the Fishing Market. This is where the primary source of income is located and where all exports from Havala come in. Just past that is the Trading District filled with crafts and tradesmen who will sell you anything they can get their hands on. After the Trading District you can find the Housing District which is protected by a field separating them from the filth in the slums.

You can find a wide array of shops in the Trading District with an assortment of equipment and valuables.

Architecture

All the buildings here are small and are built from wood. They are mostly basic with a few Aetherus homes being quite exquisite as if they were carved by a Wood Artisan.

Geography

Hakuma is on a shore and atop a lush plain of flora that are harvested and tamed for food for the townspeople.
