Festival of the Light
As the light of day slowly fadesFor as long as there has been a written record, there has been mentionings of The Creator's Light. While the myths and stories about it varies from place to place, it is still always there. In modern days we know that the mysterous light that appear in the sky every 70 or so years is, what scientists call it, a comet. We also know that there are more than this comet out there, but this is the most known and most frequent comet that passes by the planet.

In Tosormi there is a festival that has existed for as long as the people know. It was celebrated by both The Rooted and The Wanderers long before the Lomians arrived, and it is not known where it originates. Unlike most festivals, this one does not honour any particular deity, but the Creator itself. As the comet only comes by every 70 years it is seen as a great privilige to attend the festival.Celebrations of the arrival
Priests and holy people have long been able to determine when the Light is coming again. For weeks temples of all deities prepare. They have rituals to cleanse themselves, cooking food and making clothes to give to the poor, and decorating. On the night when the comet is first seen the celebrations begin. All temples open up their doors for everyone, giving food, clothes and items to those in need, while in front of the temples a great party begins. Musicians, entertainers and people from all around make their way here to celebrate the arrival of the Creator. It is a huge festival, people arrive from the most remote farms and houses to be able to attend. But it is also the most peaceful of festivals. While most other festivals bring with them drunken fights, theft, and other not-so-pleasant things, this does very rarely happen during this one. The comet is around for several months each time. These months are seen as a period of peace and righteous living, as the Creator is watching closely.
