Wand of Magic Missiles
These strange looking wands are a useful tool for spell-casters of of moderate skill and most adventuring mages carry one.
If historians are to be believed, long ago elven Constables carried them as primary weapons and used them to take down aggressors as they found them to be superior tools for such tasks, given that anyone important enough that their well-being couldn't be jeopardized by allowing a mere constable to have the means to harm them, would have the means to render themselves immune to the effects of the wand with relative ease, and everyone else were basically defenseless against these wands - and of course, the wands quickly ran out of charges, making mass-murder unlikely with these devices.
This wand has 7 Charges. While holding it, you can use an action to expend 1 or more of its Charges to cast the Magic Missile spell from it. For 1 charge, you cast the 1st-level version of the spell. You can increase the spell slot level by one for each additional charge you expend.
The wand regains 1d6 + 1 expended Charges daily at dawn. If you expend the wand's last charge, roll a d20. On a 1, the wand crumbles into ashes and is destroyed.
The wand can be used as a melee weapon, considered a club or a mace, dealing 1d6 damage, having no notable traits.
