Red Lady
The Red Lady, known also as the "Red Knight" since the Time of Troubles, was a Faerûnian deity of subtle and cautious strategy and tactics. Her dogma dictated the use of careful tactics in, typically political battles, to achieve victory, under the belief that sound strategy was the best way to win any conflict with the most favorable outcome. Her symbol was a red knight chess piece with stars for eyes since the Time of Troubles, but was previously a hand holding a sword breaching the surface of a body of water.
Life as an Archfey
The Red Lady's background is not well known to most, but it is generally believed that she is an Eladrin from the Feywild and that Torm won her hand in marriage and she is was one of the Archfey and became Torm's Eldritch Patron. Initially, she was already a very powerful entity, but her power was limited outside of the Feywild, and after she left the Feywild with Torm, his accomplishments tend to overshadow hers, but any scholar understands that she was the strategist of the group that formed around Torm, and that she may very well have been the brains of the operation.Rise to Demi-Godhood
When Torm was felled by the avatar of the God of War, he was doomed to suffer eternally if his life ebbed out before his sword was placed back in his hand. The Lady dove into a lake that was saturated with the blood of the fallen on the battlefield, and she retrieved the sword from the bottom of the lake, but she drowned just as her hand breached the surface, and the sword made it to Torm's hand too late. Many mistakenly believe that it was this sacrifice that was the cause of her being resurrected as a Demi-God, but that is not the case - she was actually recognized for many of her other actions and her status as an Archfay - her latest sacrifice did earn her the moniker of the Patron of Lost Causes. After her becoming a Demi-God, she joined Torm and Bahamut and their trio became known as "the lesser triad", and they ventured out into the planes and fought the many evils that threatened the realmspace.Time of Troubles
When the Gods were cast down during the Time of Troubles, the Red Lady possessed one of her devotees named Kaitlin Tindall Bloodhawk, who was essentially a Paladin. During this time, she was separated from her allies, Torm and Bahamut and found herself in Tethyr where she rallied her followers (that would be Kaitlin Tindall Bloodhawk's companions) against the hordes of monsters that attacked the land. Her valiant efforts made her so loved by the people that she was raised to the status of a Lesser Deity.
