Erenor's Guise
This mysterious shield was found in the entryway of the Durst Manor, hanging on a wall. The shield has a shield-drape over it featuring the Durst Crest, but the shield under the drape is significantly more interesting than the ancient drape - Named "Erenor's Guise", the shield may have been named as such in tribute to the ancient tale of Erenor the foolish Knight-Errant.
The shield, when raised while the user is standing still, forces all onlookers who have not yet physically seen the wielder, to make a Wisdom Saving-Throw versus the wielder's passive Stealth or Deception, or they perceive the wielder as an inanimate object.
The shield is otherwise magical - the shield itself is just an ordinary old wooden shield, but the magic of the shield is entirely contained within a outer-layer consisting of enchanted metals and dragonscales that could easily be transferred to a new wooden shield.
Like other magical shields, one of the main advantages of these shields is that they are almost impossible to entirely destroy, meaning the item can reach 0 hitpoints and still be repaired, and the BT is 0 for magical shields.
