Cloak of Protection

Cloaks of Protection are really just magical broaches that can be attached to any cloak, but they only work when attached to a cloak or coat. These types of items were commonly owned and worn by noblemen during the Age of Kings, more commonly by noble ladies and the children of Noble Houses, as the Lords tended to prefer Rings or Protection over the cloaks, as these were often found in the form of signet rings of the great houses. The same is generally true for the cloaks that often featured the crests of the houses, many of which are now long forgotten, on the broaches.

Note

You cannot benefit from both a Cloak of Protection and a Ring of Protection at the same time. Amulets of protection will also not work with either of these two other items, but are much rarer at any rate.
