Adventure 3 Session 2 - "Volo's quest" Report

General Summary

Short version: we cleared out the warehouse of one of the guilds, kicking lumps out of crow people with no survivors. We found the son of the former waterdeep lord and he was about to tell us what happened to the Ginge.
Longer version: The party, at the request of Volothamp Geddarm   followed leads to discover the whereabouts of Floon Blagmaar. 
A brief hiatus at the very purple Old Xoblob Shop: Xoblob told the party he has seen Floon and a well-dressed fellow of similar appearance and bearing were jumped outside the shop by rough-looking men in black leather armor. Xoblob thinks there were five attackers, but none of them looked familiar. One of them had a black tattoo of a winged snake on his neck.
The party then proceeded to The Skewered Dragon, a disreputable pub in the Dock Ward, where Old Jem, a down-on-his-luck regular who recognised Taman, advised the party to check out a nearby old warehouse.
Doing so, the party were attacked by a band of kenku, avian humanoids. Defeating them, the party searched the warehouse and found and freed Renaer Neverember.
