Toril

This world is a re-imagining of the Toril world used in the Forgotten Realms. At this point, the time for feudalism and regional city-states is coming to a close, and the world is moving rapidly towards the search for statehood, as imperialism arises in every stretch of Faerun. In the north, the open lord of Waterdeep, Admon Ambercrown III, along with the rest of the Masked Lords, formed the Sword Coast Confederacy as its first leader, Lord Protector Admon Ambercrown I. Now the Confederation rests in the hands of Lord Protector Elanor Blackwell II, but the times have not been kind to the Sword Coast. East of the Sword Coast, the Galians have gained great strength over the years. The Duchy of Hameun has gained incredible amounts of wealth and established itself as a considerable economic power under the wise leadership of the Joestar family, especially the current ruler, Grand Duke Joseph IV. To the east, the Duchy of Brandeaux has been shrouded in mystery, quite literally, ever since the death of Dario III and the rise of Dio I to power. North of both, however, the mighty Kingdom of Galia has expanded at an incredible rate, due in part by its current king, Jean Pierre VII of House Polnareff, otherwise known as the Silver Chariot. His power has increased Galian prestige in his hunt for a port on the Sword Coast. To the East, the Cormathia Scionnan is in a bad spot after losing all of their territory east of the Eramanthean mountains. The current Prime Scion, Erevan XI of House Koranthil, has been incensed by this loss, but knows that conflict with the fledgling republic to the east would result in global condemnation, and so bides his time. East of the Eramanthean mountains, the Dhalian Republic is beginning to blossom under its first president, Alinar Adarion. The Red Wizards of Thay continue their unsettling pursuit of arcane knowledge in the Thay plateau. The Unite Kingdom of the Moonshae Isles has begun to utilize its incredible Naval prowess to form a colonial empire consisting of various holdings on islands and other, less developed continents. The current King, Gwynn V of House Graymond, has begun to focus on the country's imperialist ambitions.
