Black Castle
The black castle is the main residence of the black knight. From here he controls his black forces, stores his founding of knowledge and artifacts.
Defences
The black castle has two rings of stone wall around the keep. The walls are infused with magic to withstand conventional bombardment. In addition, he created a magical barrier around each wall. On each wall are troops of the black forces stationed, to look out for anything interesting.
To protect his home further the black knight teleports the entire castle between places in order to prevent long term sieges and assaults.

History
The black castle was, before the black knight conquered it, a small castle from a local lord.
In 388LD the black knight conquered the castle. He didn’t kill a single resident of the castle. He simply inflicted so much fear into them that they fled from the castle. As soon as the castle was empty the black knight moved in.
Twelve years later in 400LD, the black knight teleported the castle away. No one knew where he went. The mages where afraid of him and searched everywhere.
Between 420-430 the black castle is sight in different location all over the continent.
In 431 the mages traced the teleportation to certain areas and waited for the black castle to reappear. Later this year the mages besieged and surprised the black knight inside his castle. In the winter of 431 the mage order and the black knight signed a cease-fire, which lasts over millenniums.
Since then the mage order never attacked the black castle again.

Architecture
The black castle is mainly constructed out of white stone similar to the white city of dragon breach. The black castle only building is the keep in the center of the castle. The rest are the walls, gatehouses and tower alongside the wall. The open area in between the walls are used mainly for gardening.
