[/color] The whittling king is an inn in the city of Weisiar, and is the most famous inn in the Tiorath isles, if not the whole of Tor'Saarn. It is widely believed that this is the inn in which Thennon Tiorath gathered his allies before his conquest of Tiorath, before he first took the surname Tiorath. Before the first age the Inn was known as the Islebeast's rest, but likely changed it's name to capitalise on it's history with Thennon.
The owners passed both the inn and the story of it's name on to it's children throughout the generations, and even by the second age it was still family owned. According to it's current owners it gets it's name from Thennon's habit of whittling (a fact that is also discussed in numerous historical documents), and it is even claimed that some of the wooden statues that are now proudly displayed were in fact made by the first High Lord of the Hierarchy before his reign.

History

Although it is not confirmed whether or not Thennon did indeed gather the first of his forces anywhere near the inn, it is well documented that he spent a great deal of time within the business, and the location even boasts a sign of plated silver, a gift from the inn's namesake.

Rooms

The Whittling king boasts over 30 rooms, being the primary inn to the busy city of Weisiar. However only the 12 rooms of the west wing existed at the time of Thennon, and as such these rooms can cost over 200 sigils per night. The richest travelers can rent Thennon's room, as long as they are willing to pay the 2 grand sigil cost per night.
