Toirus

The kingdoms of Lirent, Koqua, and [stand-in] have been at war for with each other for a century. All three kingdoms struggle for land and resources as their populations slowly outgrow their territory, with more and more dying in each land due to lack of shelter and starvation every day. Lirent defeated the smallest kingdom in the war, Tehali, 46 years ago, gaining all of its land and resources. Thus, it is now the most prosperous of all three kingdoms. Still, with such a great number of people, many within the kingdom and outside of it wonder how it manages its population so... disturbingly well.   Something sinister is brewing in the depths of Lirent, but the other two kingdoms have their own problems besides fighting the war. Most can only pray to the Spirits that they will all survive this war, and in Lirent's citizens' case, their own kingdom's wrath.   Our story begins with a blind boy who seems to know more than he lets on, in Rhodus, Lirent. He lives among the street rats, the alley-dwellers, and the orphans—the impure and the outcasts.
