The ship breaks over the crest of a wave and there, just within sight, are the blue and green flags of Berdan! A sailor's paradise with docks and wharfs for shipbuilding, and taverns a plenty, Berdan is a favored port of call. An active port registry connects ships with loads and keeps the currency flowing into the city coffers through a moderate tariff system. A lively night scene keeps townsfolk happy and helps them forget the miserable life outside their high wooden walls. The sturdy cargo ships of Berdan are favored far and wide for their exceptional load capacity and shallow draw. Many an adventurer has started their journey by talking their way onto a ship as a deckhand to see the world....and some actually escaped the seafaring life once they reached port! One of larger concentrations of warforged, the older creations have settled here after being released from service by the mages of Gabbon City.
