Battle of Ijwavya

Military action

557BC

After over a century of control of the majority of Thurásin, the first cracks in the Urisoril Empire's grip emerged with their catastrophic loss at the Battle of Ijwavya. The northern Kingdom of Kuwvyana raided the north beaches and pushed Urisoril south, joined at every step by eager locals. Caught entirely off guard and under-prepared, Urisoril was quickly forced to surrender that northern province, which Kuwvyana declared the Kingdom of Ijwavya.   The loss was so significant to the continent that the countries of Central Thurásin declared the next year to be the beginning of an Era of Collapse, prophesying Urisoril's demise.
