Grandmother Prima is the head nurse for the royal family of Dätsalöl, and has been since 12 Return. She is a kindly older lady with a great wealth of knowledge, and many turn to her for guidance and advice. Her ability to bring calm and cheer with wild historical tales is unparalleled.

History

Grandmother Prima was born in Varrzaxadh, into a large farming family. She was considered too gentle to plow the fields, and so her family saved to send her to a nearby hospital to become a nurse. It was there she met her husband, an amateur geologist from Dätsalöl who had been injured in a fall while examining some rocks. They carried on a whirlwind romance, and he brought her home with him when he left Varrzaxadh.
In Dätsalöl, she continued to work as a nurse, first in a large hospital, but later in a small clinic that serviced poorer clients becoming well known locally for her calm demeanour and big heart. When her husband passed just a few short years after she moved to the country, her coworkers banded together to support her and keep her afloat. When one of her fellow nurses at the clinic applied to join the nursing staff of the royal family, she used Prima as one of her references, and the interviewers were so impressed with Prima that they invited her to join as well.
Prima worked her way up to the position of head nurse over the course of a few years, and has been the primary nurse for the current king of Dätsalöl, Zoivas, since before his coronation. The length of her tenure, combined with her age, has led many to suggest she should retire soon, but she has been cryptic about her future plans.

Rumours

King Zoivas of Dätsalöl is well known as a weak and timid king, with many considering him to be a puppet for his more powerful relatives and court members. However, some point to Grandmother Prima as the greatest influence on his life and political decisions. Zoivas is rumoured to consult with her every day, sometimes at great length during times of strife, and his pacifist politics may be her doing.
