Gertrud Farnier

Gertrud is the shrewd and charismatic matriarch of the Farnier family. She is very proud of her noble tiefling heritage and is a big believer of tiefling supremacy. This does not however prevent her from working with and contracting people from all species, she is even rumoured to have had numerous human lovers during her time in the capital. There are numerous rumours and shadows that haunt Gertrud, which played a key part in her decision to move her family to Fartown. Gertrud does not take kindly to anyone that brings up any of this gossip, especially the rumour of her murdering her own father in order to become the head of the family.
The relationship Gertrud has with the adventurers guild is strained, but she does contract their services regularly. This is in order to keep them close and maintain her political sway in Fartown with the increased influence that the adventurers guild has.
