Sharkus Chronoticus Species in Time Shark | World Anvil

Sharkus Chronoticus

Basic Information

Anatomy

Similar to a Bull Shark. The only known specimen is a female, 15 feet long, weighing approximately 1500 Kilos.

Ecology and Habitats

Seems to be a shallow water predator, prefers warm water.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Time Sharks eat a bit more than typical sharks, due to the increased metabolic drain from time travel. Most sharks need to consume 1% to 10% of their body weight per week to survive, Time Sharks can eat as much as 30% of their body weight in a week, though typically they will be closer to 5%. This means that a 1500Kg shark could eat as much as a person per day or as little as a person per week (75-450kg). Of course, the same shark can attack a target rich environment several times, waiting to digest its first kill and them simply returning to the same time and place for more prey.

Additional Information

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

In addition to the standard shark senses, it can sense prey via chronotic particles, that is, it can sense prey that is nearby in space but separated by time.
