Mehir family home

His crystal grey eyes shone in the sunlight. “I'm home,” he whispers. “Were home, Gio.” Ezra says. I didn't have time to see their house when I first arrived, I don't remember what it had looked like at all, only the interior. It was a modest house, better than any shack in Azaad. It reminded me of the houses one draws when they are a child. A little brown brick square box with little square windows and on top of that, a little red triangle roof and a rectangle chimney. I could imagine a small Giovanni and Ezra running around, chasing each other and playing tag whilst their mother calls for them to have dinner. It still had a homely feel like that, the swing set still stuck on the tree nearby. The house draws us if it were the pied piper and we were its children.

Purpose / Function

Protection from the Lamentari as both father and son had been gifted with the bearer abiliity.

Architecture

The floor dressed in a dark brown worn out carpet which lost its warm nature, the fluffy feeling you get when rubbing one’s toes on the newly fitted carpet, all gone. The walls were a dusty orange colour, wallpaper creeping out as the glue that held it to the wall had been dried up so much it was tearing away.
The miniature bedroom was very dimly lit, no sign of a light bulb. It had been taken out of the light bulb socket just seen above on the ceiling. Nothing but a wooden wardrobe and a desk with a lamp sitting on top. Other than these few objects, it is completely empty. No pictures on the wall, no miscellaneous objects. No evidence that this room belonged to someone or something. There wasn’t an atom’s worth of essence which proved at least someone lived here. It’s weird, even someone as bland as me has at least something unique about them. I looked out of the cracked glass window spacing out. Then it hit me...
