Anatilli es Lagume

Geography

Before the Lamentari hunt: This has been recorded in Ehsaan's own words.
Sunrays spill between the small gaps of the tree barks heating my face as the leaves swallow the sun’s glow, drinking in its radiance that the trees thirst for so much. The air breathed a minty smell of freshly cut grass celebrated by a mild current. I open my eyes and tilt my head upwards to stare at the clear blue sky; it feels like a dream.
After the Lamentari hunt: This has been recorded in Ehsaan's own words.
We were getting closer, and about time too. We had been walking all night, and the sky was regaining its daytime colour again. A rich blue sky circled our vision above decorated with yellow glittering stars. I remember this place so fondly. The lofty tower like trees loomed over us, we were like a little ant colony compared to them and that was why it had been the most perfect spot to hide. I blink, and blink once more. It was as if I were in another planet.
“Are you alright walking on it?” Giovanni said offering a hand. I nod.
“Giovanni look!”
I jump off the log walking into a barren, treeless land. The ground had been stripped off its soil and grass, nothing was left beside a stone hard floor. The trees had been cut down, only leaving the stumps behind. An icy wind almost blows off my jacket and I hug myself to not let it fly away. Everything smelt of smoke, I could hardly breathe.
“Ehsaan!”

Fauna & Flora

Before the Lamentari hunt: This has been recorded in Ehsaan's own words.
The life above is brimming with life, much different to that of what we know here on the ground. The birds look heavenly, their angelic wings make me jealous as they glide through the air with their family and friends.
The narvis we met had the same snowy white whiskers and round shimmering eyes too big for its head. The closest animal I can describe it as is an incredibly fluffy cat, the size of an average fox. Giovanni said that narvis' are known to be witty. The meinab differed in its fur though; it was thin and curly much like the velkov. The velkov we saw resembled close to a wolf without much of its fur. It was coloured a dark purple and had huge ears too big for its head. velkov’s are known to be by themselves much of the time and that's how they like it. It was the only animal we passed that Giovanni simply could not pet in danger of angering it.
Before the Lamentari hunt: This haa been recorded in Giovanni's own words.
“Ehsaan, this is a meinab.” He peers up at me giving me a fact file of the creature.
“They're actually hybrids from a narvis and a velkov and are really hyper but cute.”
After the Lamentari hunt: This has been recorded in Ehsaan's own words.
“What have they done to this place?” Ezra gasps.
“That's impossible it can't be!” Veera says shocked.
“It's a velkov? But how?” Veera shakes her head.
“They never show themselves to humans.” She looks at Ezra for clarification dusting off her hands.
“That's because it didn't. Must've been searching this place while we were gone.”
We all gulp so loud we could hear it. My eyes shift to a white tractor, half the size of the trees that once stood here. I get out my bow and arrow, and the other's follow. We tip toe, taking care not to make too much noise. That a noise was the difference between life and death. Thousands of acres, all bulldozed and destroyed, the poor animals. They left not even a patch of grass, not even a weed grew out of the stone floor. No life, they had killed it all.
“Breathe Ehsaan."
