The ring of storage is often a ring made of valuable metals with a gem worth at least 50GP. Due to its precious materials, it often becomes a family heirloom.
the ring of storage has a storage space of 32 cubic feet and a maximum weight limit of 250 pounds. Placing an object into the ring or taking it out requires an action of the user. The space inside the ring can not be seen. The ring can not hold living creatures or objects with sharp exposed edges such as unsheathed swords and broken glass. Placing a ring of storage inside an extradimensional space created by a bag of holding or similar item instantly destroys both items and opens a gate to the Astral Plane. The gate originates where one item was placed inside the other. Any creature within 10 feet of the gate is sucked through it to a random location on the Astral Plane. The gate then closes. The gate is one-way only and can't be reopened.

The item disappears and reappears in a cloud of dust similarly coloured to the rings gem. It's very impressive. I wish I could show you but I forgot what I put inside.
